Ben writes: This was written for Exaudi Youth Choir to fill a very specific gap in their repertoire – they needed something Australian and something sacred! I found an old hymn text, by James Rowe (1915).
I have a very soft spot for this piece – I love the victorious piano part. It’s rarely performed and I’d love to see it out in the world more!
