Lachlan writes of this piece: Ayee Bird appears as part of the oratorio The Tides of Longing, commissioned forThe West Australian Symphony Orchestra by Geoff Stearn and Bridget Faye AM. Libretto adapted from Jay Emmanuel’s play Children of the Sea, originally presented by Encounter Theatre.

A beautiful, lyric song which your choir will love to sing! This version is mostly unison, with some optional harmonies.

Also available in a more advanced 3-part treble version, as well as SATB with piano (or harp).
