Description

This piece was written as part of the Sydney Children’s Choir Emerging Composers Program and Rachel dedicated it to her grandfather Mike Bruer who journeyed to Heard Island in ‘An occasionally outrageous odyessy.’ The text is taken from his diaries written in 1950. It is an exciting and dramatic song for younger voices about experiencing the wildness of the sea.
