“You are perfect…just the way you are.”

Based on a retelling of Snow White, from “The Adventurous Princess and other Feminist Fairy Tales” by Erin-Claire Barrow, this piece was commissioned by Christie Anderson for the Young Adelaide Voices with support of Carclew as part of YAV’s 2019/20 Composer in Residence program. The Queen must face a decision…will she let her step-daughter come to see herself as ugly when she looks in the magic mirror? This is a piece with drama and uses narrators.
