Description

Originally commissioned by the Brisbane Chamber Choir and Graeme Morton, this work is a setting of the celebratory biblical passage recorded by Simeon, a devout man who has been awaiting the arrival of the Messiah. Upon seeing the young Jesus, he rejoices that his time of waiting is now over.
