Ruth writes: “This version of the well-known Christmas nativity Liturgical text is an homage to pieces of the same name from the Early Music period. Beautiful settings include a pitch drop and return in the first phrase, and this piece mirrors that idea.”

The original mixed-voices version of this piece was written for The Jubilate Singers at Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Dulwich Hill, and the recording was taken at their Carols Concert Dec 2025.
