Andrew writes: ‘The Coffee Song’ was originally written for Southern Voices, a Melbourne choral program run by my partner Sharon. The piece was specifically written for the Youth Chorale, an SATB choir of teens and twenties (the SATB version can be found here). This arrangement (and another version for SSA with piano) I did more recently to make it more accessible. After all, we all like coffee!
NOTE: The recording below, performed by the Composer’s Choir (Connecticut, USA) with Daniel Shaw as director is the SATB with piano version.
