Lachlan wrote both text and music to this beautiful and haunting piece about a special place of solitude. He writes: “I wrote The Lonely Beach for the SCC Junior Performing Choir in 2023 and I like it mostly not because of the piece itself but because of the good memories and the enthusiasm with which they took it up!”
