This song acknowledges that even though we may not know what it is like for a soldier who packs up their bags and head off to war, we honour those who have done this. We recognise that peace is a gift we all need to give to each other. (This piece could also be simplified to be sung in unison.) Please note that the score includes parts for bass/treble, C/Bb instruments so that there are options for the solo instrumental line. Ideally a brass or a wind instrument would be best to imitate the sound of a trumpet or bugle. A version with SA and piano is also available.
