Annie writes: I wrote the piece as part of my Composer-in-Residence for the Sydney Children’s Choir in 2015, with the focus of Cockatoo Island. This piece was written to capture the sense of adventure, discovery, and wonderment felt about the voyages made from Cockatoo Island to charter unknown territories. Cockatoo Island was used as a ship dock for repair and maintenance work for returning vessels, before being sent off on their next voyage of discovery. This piece is also available as Treble unison and piano.
